Rotator cuff lesions with shoulder stiffness

Shoulder stiffness is described as pain and loss of shoulder motion. Some patients have no identifiable cause, and others are caused by underlying diseases such as rotator cuff lesions. Rotator cuff lesions are common shoulder disorders with symptoms such as pain, limited motion, weakness, and functional disability. There was a total of 37 patients divided into two groups. Nineteen of those patients participated in the extracorporeal shockwave therapy group, and eighteen patients were in the control group. The patients receiving shockwave therapy experienced significantly better pain, stronger muscle power, and higher circulatory motor sensory, which is a medical assessment that evaluates three components of circulation, motor, and sensory. The patients receiving shockwave experienced better internal rotation after three months.
